- ➤ Tickets for the Live Oak Music Festival’s 38th annual event go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26 for the three-day family-friendly celebration (discounted early bird pricing lasts through March 20). Noozhawk
- ➤ Santa Barbara Zoo will hold its Snow Leopard Festival featuring 80 tons of snow that transforms the area into a snowy playground. The event will offer a fun winter outing for local families and animal fans. Noozhawk
- ➤ UCSB Arts and Lectures presents Les Ballets Africains, the national dance ensemble of Guinea, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at The Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara. - ➤ Today, the Goleta Planning Commission approved a design to relocate a 9,042 sqft World War II hangar and two Quonset huts from their old sites to 135 Castilian Drive, where they will serve as part of a new research and development facility. The project now moves to final design review. Noozhawk

- ➤ Westmont Men's Basketball beat Fresno Pacific 79-67 Saturday at Murchison Gym with a well-spread offense and teamwork. The Warriors began their three-game road trip to Hawaii at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday (facing three PacWest teams). Noozhawk
- ➤ Dos Pueblos girls water polo captured the Ocean View Tournament championship on Saturday in Huntington Beach after a 9-3 win over Edison High and an 8-4 win over Santiago High. The Chargers now stand at 14-5 and will host Oxnard on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Noozhawk
