- ➤ On Nov. 6, UCSB Sustainability held a forum at the Student Resource Building Multipurpose Room to gather student feedback on the 2025 draft Climate Action Plan. The plan aims to cut carbon emissions by roughly 90% before 2045 and includes proposals for a new central utility plant—costing about $2.25 billion—and changes to commuter transport, with formal approval scheduled for spring quarter.
