- ➤ The Santa Barbara Rescue Mission will host its annual Thanksgiving Feast on November 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 535 East Yanonali Street to serve community members in need and homeless guests with a full Thanksgiving meal that includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. Donations and food contributions are welcomed at the Mission's office from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday — reinforcing its 60-year commitment to supporting local residents. - ➤ Stearns Wharf has stood for more than 150 years as a key landmark in Santa Barbara, surviving storms, fires and disasters (including a ship collision) as it helped the city grow from a remote coastal town to a commercial hub.
