About this event
Les Arts Florissants brings the passionate music of Claudio Monteverdi vividly to life in a program of sensual madrigals, heartbreak, desire and dazzling vocal interplay. Led by Baroque masters William Christie and Paul Agnew , this historic French ensemble performs with exquisite artistry and dramatic immediacy, capturing a revolutionary moment when music became intensely emotional, theatrical and deeply human. Four centuries later, Monteverdi’s music still feels startlingly modern.
