About this event
Every third Thursday of the month kids ages 8-14 can get hands-on with fun engineering, robotics, and technology activities! Each month kids will take on a different robot challenge or STEAM craft designed to build problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
This month youth will learn how to use Tinkercad, a web-based 3D design program, to create their own 3D prints! Youth will practice basic computer skills (click and drag, double click, mouse movement, etc.) while making their own designs.
The activity welcomes parental/caregiver attendance to help support your child with basic computer skills if needed, but we do not expect you to have experience with Tinkercad. Learn alongside together! Please create an account on Tinkercad for youth with an email account and set up a password. Please provide them with these login details (email & password) for this session to begin designing.
Register to secure your spot. Bilingual staff will be available to guide and support participants.
